moving out

i am now upgraded to the second floor of our house. last saturday, i swapped rooms with my brother and his wife. You see, my sister in law is 7 or 8 months pregnant (i'm not really sure how far on the way she is!) and she's already having difficulty going up and down those blasted stairs. and seeing the opportunity of having a bigger room, i agreed to the idea of us swapping rooms. what i did not foresee was the difficult task of moving out. pakshet! ang hirap pala!

it took me countless trips up and down the stairs to bring most of my stuff, some of which until now are still lying around waiting to be put into it's proper place. the most difficult part was hauling the computer upstairs as i still have to remove all the plugs and connections and dismantle the computer table all by myself because it wouldn't fit the doorframe. anak ng tinapa! what have i gotten into?! I couldn't imagine how people who move house every few months do it. We haven't moved to another house ever since i was born so i really have no idea. this is practically the major move out i've done in my life.

right now, i am slowly putting my things into their proper places, although you'll still see some pairs of shoes outside my door and under the bed. I think i'll get to them right after i take in the view of our neighborhood from the window of my new room.
